This relaxed day tour combines the best of nature, local flavours and German heritage, all while travelling in the comfort of one of our luxury vehicles.

Itinerary

9:00 am – Pickup

We'll collect you from your Adelaide CBD accommodation or another pre-arranged location before heading into the Adelaide Hills.

9:30 am – Mount Lofty Summit

Enjoy spectacular panoramic views across Adelaide and the coastline from South Australia's most iconic lookout.

10:00 am – Coffee Stop (optional)

If you need a coffee to start your day, we'll stop at one of the Adelaide Hills' local cafés where you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and homemade treats before continuing your journey.

10:45 am – Cleland Wildlife Park

Explore one of South Australia's most popular wildlife parks at your own pace. Get up close to kangaroos, koalas, wombats, emus and many other native Australian animals. Optional animal experiences can be booked in advance.

1:00 pm – Explore Hahndorf & Lunch

Spend time discovering Australia's oldest surviving German settlement. Wander the historic main street filled with artisan boutiques, handmade products, leather goods, confectionery, galleries and specialty stores before enjoying lunch at a venue of your choice.

For a traditional German dining experience, the Hahndorf Inn offers favourites including schnitzels, kranskys, wurst platters, sauerkraut and pretzels. Alternatively, choose from the village's many cafés, bakeries and restaurants.

3:00 pm – Beerenberg

Complete your Adelaide Hills experience with a visit to the famous Beerenberg Farm Shop, where you can browse an extensive range of locally made jams, sauces, condiments and gourmet products.

4:00 pm – Return to Adelaide

Relax and enjoy the journey back after a memorable day exploring the wildlife, history and local flavours of the Adelaide Hills.
