Let the Dogs Come To The Clare Valley

Many wineries describe themselves as “dog-friendly”, but the reality is often different. If food is served, dogs are usually not allowed inside the tasting room. That often leaves one person outside with the dog, missing out on the experience.

This tour was created to solve that problem.

With Valley Wine Tours, your dog comes with you, and the day is planned properly around that. No leaving them behind at your accommodation, no tying them up outside, and no one missing out.

Your tour is a private experience, designed for 1 to 4 guests and your dog. For very small lapdogs, larger groups can be accommodated. The day is relaxed and flexible, with a focus on wineries that work well for both guests and dogs.

Where needed, I can keep an eye on your dog while you step inside for tastings. It makes the day easy, and far more enjoyable.

You’ll visit a selection of the region’s cellar doors, take in the scenery, and enjoy a proper look at the Barossa. It’s not just about the wine, it’s about having a good day without the usual compromises.

Pickup and return from your Barossa accommodation is included.

Lunch is not included, which gives you flexibility. We can plan a suitable stop in advance, or decide on the day depending on how things are flowing.

Please bring a lead, water bowl, and anything that helps your dog feel comfortable.

There is only one tour per day, so if you have a date in mind, it is best to book early.

A 20% deposit secures your booking, with the balance due 14 days prior. Full refunds apply for cancellations made more than 14 days in advance, or if the tour cannot proceed due to unforeseen circumstances.
